I know many of you have seen all this on Facebook, but it felt wrong not to make an official CU thread like I do every year.
Legend has it if you say her name 3 times in a mirror she will appear.
Boody Mary...Bloody Mary...Bloody.. nope, can't do it.
I Wanted to write her name in blood on the mirror but I could NOT get it to come out correctly in the picture. This was the best I got.
This Minion is ready to help carve that last pumpkin!
Minion from the movie Despicable Me.
The master of Horror himself, Vincent Price! I listened to "Thriller" while carving this one.
The Hessian Horseman from Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow (played by Christopher Walken).
Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead and a Walker.
David Bowie as Jareth the Goblin King from the movie Labyrinth. I tried to make this resemble the ballroom scene from the movie.
Dr. Frank N. Further from The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
The Hitchhiking Ghosts from the Haunted Mansion ride at Disneyland.
Ghost Pirate.
Pennywise from the Stephen King movie IT.
We all float down here...
DE and I went as a Voodoo Witch Doctor and Voodoo Queen.
The weather held out pretty well for us. Very windy but thankfully not cold at all. Later that night after just before midnight the tornado warnings started and so did the rain. Today we are ankle deep in fallen leaves from all the wind and there are still plenty more to come off the trees. We did our regular Trick or Treating with DE's brother's family, about 1 1/2 mile loop. The kids were LOADED with goodies. I wasn't feeling too great so I drove behind the group. It wasn't long before I had tired of walking kids in my car for the rest of the way. After that we stopped for a small house party where we were the only adults dressed up, but everyone was impressed. We went through a drive thru on the way home for dinner. The guy at window one did a second take when I pulled up and was pretty much speechless as he stared at me. Window 2 was another second take with a compliment. DE went to work dressed up all day, armed with an eyeliner pencil.
I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!!
